Welcome to Emma Claire Interiors, a family-run business based in Bungay, Suffolk, United Kingdom. With over 105 years of combined experience, we have been serving our clients with passion and creativity for the past 5 years.

Meet The Founder

I’m Emma, and my journey in the world of soft furnishings and upholstery spans over four decades. Growing up, I had the privilege of witnessing and therefor learning, from my incredible parents and their soft furnishings business, while they crafted exquisite curtains, Roman blinds, cushions and breathed new life into furniture with amazing upholstery renovations.

After a fulfilling career working in advertising, design and marketing, I became a Mum in 2017. I wanted to be able to spend more time with my son, so I decided to channel my creative energy into becoming self-employed and established Emma Claire Interiors, from my garden studio in London back in 2019.

From London To Suffolk

Starting out in London, I cultivated a loyal client base and had the pleasure of working on diverse projects – from adorning Victorian bay windows in South East London, fitting out an entire Town Hall including stage curtains to embellishing modern apartment blocks in Kensington. However, a pull towards the serene landscapes of Suffolk led me to relocate to Bungay, where I now work in collaboration my talented parents, Helen and Nigel.

At Emma Claire Interiors, we specialise in bespoke curtains, Roman blinds, cushions and accessories and upholster antique, vintage, modern chairs like Parker Knoll and small items of furniture. Roman Blinds

Available in a wide variety of fabrics and styles, our hand-sewn Roman blinds are elegant, practical and great value too.

Options include both stacked and cascade blinds, with standard cotton, blackout or thermal lining, and a choice of stylish operating systems using chains or cords.

One of the most popular window coverings today, Roman blinds are perfect as standalone window coverings and can complement many styles of curtain.

Curtains

We offer a wide range of curtain styles from traditional pleated options such as pinch pleats, box pleats, goblet pleats and pencil pleats, through to more contemporary solutions like eyelet, rod pocket and table top curtains.

All of our hand-tailored curtains are available in classic and contemporary designer fabrics, complemented by your choice of tracks and poles, if required.

Upholstery and Cushions

Reupholster your well loved armchair, dining chairs, small sofa, or just add new cushions to give it a new lease of life.We also make bespoke cushions for anything from a window seat, pet beds, to garden furniture, with a huge choice of stunning fabrics and styles available.

We can also offer brand new, made-to-measure inners with your choice of foam, latex, fibre or feathers, in many styles including scatter, box and piped.
